Downloaded for iPad and it gets stuck in set up on the locations permissions screen. Closed out and came back same thing. Deleted and re-downloaded same thing. On iPhone, the allow location works, but the share article arrow does not.

The newest version of the app is available and I have it. It looks fabulous, and the new features are excellent! Thank you.

The weather icons barely ever load anymore for the hourly. Now when I get into the app it freezes. This used to be my favorite app but now I can’t even use it. Frustrated.

I like to be able to share articles with friends but if I try to do that it just tells them to download the app. Frustrating and stupid

the worst app I’ve ever had on my phone. Every time you open the app, it won’t open fully. You have to do it three times to get it to open. Scrolling gets stuck every single time I use it. It glitches and freezes worse than a computer from 1988

I do not understand the response from the developers about the broken sharing tool. “Our app is free to use so link recipients can just download the app” is not helpful or inclusive. I want to share stories from the app. Say I want to email a story to a group of people and I send the link. Well, not everyone who reads the email is reading it on a mobile device or even has a mobile device. They get this stupid “app.link” that tries to force them to download the app instead of taking them to the story and it just wastes everyone’s time - mine having sent something they cannot read and theirs trying to figure out how to find the story without the app. There are also people who do not have admin permission to install apps on their devices but want to be able to receive shared nbc news. I mean this is not complicated. Just let users share the actual url of the story like you used to. I am tired of having to exit the app and google the headline and find it on your website and then share it from there. It’s just a very bad user experience. Do better, people.

I never used to have this issue, but the app continues crashing on the iPhone 12 on the weather tab. I always used this app and this ever happened to me. Someone please fix!

It was bad in the first place but they just changed the app so that video ads automatically play before reading every article. I’ve ignored the garbage editing quality for years because it’s still local news, but it’s bad enough that I finally had to delete the app.

Hi, upset because I wanted to watch the program (I’m guessing live) that the station has on Saturday 21st and I couldn’t. Connected in my computer and nothing also. Just old news. Is there something I can do or you guys for me to watch it tomorrow Sunday?

NBC has switched from local personel, to strange NY people, I won’t watch it any more!

I specifically chose to have videos NOT automatically play in the app preferences. There are occasions where I open a text based article and somehow the video manages to start playing and eating up my data, all on its own. I do not have unlimited data as part of my phone plan and appreciate the preference to let me control a potential source of heavy data usage, but the preference actually has to work properly.

If you like ads, this app is for you. It’s nothing more than a vehicle to downloads dozens of ads per story. You can’t tell the story from the ads. Such a waste.

Weather doesn’t load. This app has bugs. Update: The app was updated and loads with no issues.

Update: Most of the issues were finally found dead with the most recent update. Still have occasional issues with it completely loading but it’s, by far, MUCH better than it was. Thank you!!! I used to use this app daily (mainly for checking the weather) but for the past few months, it’s been almost unusable. I try to open it and nothing loads. I’ve tried opening it at multiple locations with different wifi connections and nothing. I’ve honestly gotten it to work properly maybe 3 times in the past 4 months. I’ve just resorted to using the iPhone weather app over this one. Very disappointed I might have to delete this app soon.

For over a year, this app didn’t work. Which is a shame, considering that I find it routinely has the most accurate forecasts. But it’s finally working again!

This app has been nothing but amazing since I downloaded it many many years ago until recently. Now almost every time I go to open the app to check the weather or the news it does not load at all. I’ve deleted the app from my phone and re-download it, reset my phone and this doesn’t seem to fix the issue. Not sure what’s going on, but not a satisfied customer at this point.

Past few months the app has had problems loading the weather. I’ve tried reloading app with failed results. Please fix.

Weather does not load. Then trying to load weather locks up the app and now I can’t even use it for news. USELESS. PLEASE FIX THIS. ITS NOT JUST ME. How embarrassing.

M husband and I have used this app for years, but recently we get a “no chart data available” notice every time we try to open the weather. Very frustrating!! This has been going on for over a month, I’m about to switch to another news/weather station😠

When the app works it’s good for local weather and news. It has been down more times than not recently.

This app used to be great but somehow or another it stopped working. When you load it up nothing happens.

When I first downloaded this app several years ago it was fantastic, especially for weather. Recently, since they have updated the app, it will never load after multiple attempts of closing an opening and restarting my phone. Very sad to say. After deleting the app and downloading again it still does not load. I had no choice but to delete and download a new weather app. Hope they fix again soon.

If there were 0 stars, this app would get 0. It never loads anymore. Never mind that all the updates made the app less user friendly for weather. That’s a whole other bad review. For months now, the weather will NOT load 80% of the time - and that’s a generous percentage. Truthfully, it probably loads about 1% of the time, if at all. What’s going on NBC10??? There are so many complaints about the same thing and no fixes. Ridiculous!!

Don’t know what’s going on but every time I open the app it sticks and doesn’t show the weather. Will say no data available. Wasn’t always like this been the last couple of months. Is there a way to update the app so get rid of the bugs or what have you that causes the app to stick?

This app was great when I first started using it a few years ago. Now it won’t load, or will only load when I have Locations turned on, or will load then crash, or won’t load then crash.

App was working fine for along time…then finicky. Can’t get the weather, locks up and become not worth it. When it was working , love the radar and timelines. Apple or nbc 10 should check out the problems I and others are having.

Extremely frustrating that weather no longer loads. I found that NBC10 forecast was always the most reliable.

If you’re happily using the app for years, it will no longer work. I’ve reloaded it multiple times and it just freezes up. Very sad. Hopefully it will start working again.

The most recent update often fails to load the weather for me. I’ve used this app for years and I’ve only recently started having this problem.

It freezes when switching between news and weather. And if you close it on the weather page and reopen it it cannot load weather data. So it’s only good if you stay in news and don’t use the weather page. The first time you open it it’ll work but once you close it it’s a frozen screen trying to get weather to load. Doesn’t matter if you restart your phone d or delete and download the app. My iPhone 8 Plus is up to date. (15.3.1). There’s a bug in this app. Fix it so I can move from news to weather and back again w/o deleting the app and reinstalling and going through all the preliminary set up questions. Your weather is good too bad it won’t load!!

Ads, Ads and more ads. Eventually you get to a news story then more ads. The app shows the same stories all through the app over and over. You’ll also find current news mixed with news from years ago. The app is very disorganized with lots of full length ads.

Always used this for weather updates. The newest version does not easily display the High temp for the current day, or a description of the expected conditions for the day. Having to scroll through a graph is not convenient and makes me want to use a different app for weather.

The older app much easier to navigate.

NBC10 may not always be first wig “breaking news”, but they make sure they get it right! Glenn “hisicane” Swartz is one of my top choices for latest weather updates along with all of the WPVI meteorological (sp.?) personnel!😀

It’s a “local” news station, so why doesn’t the app at least have a local section in the menu? Mixing the news categories without the ability to control what you want to see is a poor decision.

I used to use the app to watch live TV. I don’t see an option for that anymore!

Several things I don’t like here. The radar lags too often. I have a difficult time finding the 10 day forecast portion after the app has been closed for a while. It seems they are trying to be real fancy for the sake of changing just for changes sake. Sometimes you have to listen to the adage “If it aint broke, don’t fix it”. Deleting this one and searching for another.

Absolutely hate this new update. Please bring back the old layout.

The new update for NBC10 to is ok, cosmetically, although some have said it’s missing a feature or two from the past version, like “Live” (I did find that though.) I am complaining because it is impossible to email, or forward news stories anymore. It used to be so easy. There is now a symbol denoting email, but when you hit the button, nothing happens. You can post the story on Facebook, or add the link to your Twitter account, if you wish. Those buttons work. Email doesn’t. Please fix this, as I often like to “spread the news” to my kids.

I really liked the old version of your news and weather app. This one for me is hard to read and use in general. I have clouds all over the weather map and they are distracting.

This app was just updated within the last day or two and I hate it!! LIVE is no longer available so I can’t watch Live TV on my phone for this station! There’s a tornado warning right now in my area and I wanted to take my phone with me to my safe place and still watch this station live like I have done in the past to see when it’s safe again. SO disappointed with this app!

The NBC10 News App is very informative and provides to the minute weather changes i.e in 23 minutes rain will arrive in your area…how accurate and there’s No need to wait on Mother Nature…which leads me to wonder who is actually controlling the weather🤔🤔enough about that. The NBC10 news app also provides in-depth information regarding events and incidents in communities/neighborhoods…overall it’s a great app and I’m glad I’ve downloaded it…thanks to the crew of NBC10 for keeping me updated 😀😀

The NBC10 app hangs on launch on the iPad Pro running iOS 14.6. It is completely unusable.

I just love the accuracy! I travel a lot by car and enjoy knowing what’s ahead!!

I updated the app to the latest version. I’m running iOS 14.6 on my iPad Pro. The app opens but refuses to scroll. I used to love NBC10 but not so much now. Guess I’ll have to switch to another news outlet.
