So annoyed I down loaded the NEW app (kept getting annoying notices in old, to do so). Now I cant even read an article without annoying video/audio ads running at top of article:(((( Probably will delete! Plus constant notifications in banners. No way to control what & how many. I guess Ill just turn them off, less to delete.

I really love this app for all of my weather needs no matter where I am. But the one thing that is the most annoying about it is that when you open the First Alert Weather app you get an advertisement to download the very same app that I just opened!! And you have to touch the "Later" button to dismiss the advertisement. And it happens EVERY time, even when you open another app and come back to it. Is that crazy or what?!! If it wasnt for that one most annoying thing about the First Alert Weather app it would be 5 stars. If the developers are reading this PLEASE make it go away!!!!!

Not smart enough to know I have the same news app already loaded. I get prompted every single time. If its before 6 am, then the option to skip is unavailable.

After updating, the app doesnt load.

I have had this app for years. And all of a sudden one of the updates made it so a lot of the stories as soon as you select them videos start playing and you dont even have a chance to just read the story which makes it tough to use in public

Please update app with an option to pause videos - the auto-video play video feature is obnoxious and makes the app impossible to use in quiet locations.

New update makes auto start on videos. Cannot control them. Impossible to use in public. All so they can run adds. Terrible app now. Used to be great.

The auto-play videos are a nightmare. App deleted.

The app loads well, looks nice, etc. However the latest version includes autoplay for videos, with no way to turn that feature off. You also cannot pause the video. This applies for any article that has a video with it, which is the majority of them. I used to use this app about 5 times a day and now I have stopped completely. I cant use it at work or any public setting because it is obnoxious. Plus I am sure it is using up my data. Please add an option to control autoplay!

This used to be my favorite local news app, but the video ads have gotten ridiculous. I might even be able to deal with the auto starting of them, but you cant stop them. I used to use this all the time, hopefully the 6abc app has gotten better, until now I had no reason to try it again.

Im a long time viewer of NBC10. But, I will delete this app! If I could give it half a star, I would. In addition to the ads, the annoying, obnoxious, aforementioned auto video playback, the constant notifications that never result in the whole story when you click on it. Following the alert link will take you to a page with only one sentence and no link to continue reading the article. I have to use a browser to go online and follow the story. I will use ABC6 for breaking news!

Too many ads & it crashes a lot. Have re-installed several times. Ugh so aggravating

Used to love this app. Now it auto plays video and forces an advertisement before getting the actual news. Going to find a new app now.

Even with this update this app still has auto play video ads!. Even if your phones ringer is set to vibrate, the videos will play with sound anyway when you click on any story link. I wish Apple would revoke this app from the App Store until NBC 10 stops using this aggressive advertising technique. I dont have too much of a problem with video ads but the SOUND SHOULD NOT PLAY IF MY RINGER SETTING IS VIBRATE OR MUTE. Ignoring my wishes = annoyance ! Stories have numerous embedded links to other stories that are distracting. This is an example of reprehensible, disgusting corporate greed and Im sick of it.

Auto playing political ads even with the sound muted on my phone has mad you app unusable. Dont you think your users are in situations where the sound can be rude or inappropriate? Hence the silence feature on the phone. Should not be allowed by apple to bypass that function. This app is deleted from my phone, I may watch ABC now just for the added frustration.

Half the stories I tap to read prompt me to download the app Im already using... I know its just acting as a browser at times, but make it recognize your own app! And also default to mobile view. This still has a long way to go. Fortunately there are other news stations for philly.

I uninstalled the app after my phone constantly alerted me to "breaking news". Among other things, I was alerted that Ellen was being moved to 1 PM due to the Phillies home opener.

Very nice design, fast loading and well thought out. Best local news app Ive seen for Philly area and is now my go to app for local news.

A great app for Philly news! The live video feed is great too, for those times when you want to watch the news but arent near a TV.

Apparently "breaking news" alerts include things like "when will the rain end?" three times a day.
